Doll House Scenes Part 1

The doll house seems to be made of laminated cardboard and MDF board, with windows and doors made of wood; 1:12 scale; has two floors and an attic. It comes in a box and some assembly may be required. If you are a Pinky:St. collector, this is the perfect doll house for your girls. ;-D

Pocketful of Kids--The First Interactive Toy Village In The Philippines

The days of "look, but don't touch" are finally over. Now, children have the chance to try out any toy they like, even without buying it, inside this one of a kind play place.

At Pocketful of Kids, the very first interactive toy village in the country, children get to experience first hand the popular American and European toy brands that encourage children to wonder, discover and learn through play.

The interactive store features the Melissa & Doug brand which carries everything from puzzles to play food, and is the number one in wooden educational toys in the United States.

Learning Resources, for example, offers educational toys as well as a wide range of teaching resources that aid parents and teachers in developing the cognitive and motor skills of children.

Meanwhile, Educational Insights carries the famous Hot Dots pens, Playfoam and GeoSafari brand of scientifically themed toys. These provide a unique and interesting way for children to learn the fundamentals of geography, math, reading, science and other subjects.

From Swiss company HaPe, Pocketful of Kids offers Educo, an award-winning brand of durable and colorful wire and magnetic bead mazes.

Aside from Educo, Pocketful of Kids also features bestselling brands such as Alex that enhance the imagination and creativity for older kids and tweens in the field of arts, crafts and fashion. Italian brand Tatiri, who is well known for cute and colorful novelty items even offers toothbrushes with built-in hourglasses that teach kids proper hygiene and time telling in a fun way.

But aside from toys, Pocketful of Kids also features books and other services for kids like a health food section and playground. The toy village also extends its reach to parents and guardians through parenting seminars and workshops conducted by no less than child experts.

Let playtime be more educational by encouraging them to wonder, discover and learn through play. Go and visit Pocketful of Kids.

pc2001 tsukihime arc Pinky:st figure

Tsukihime Arc is the first original pinky I ever bought. I say "original" because the first Pinky:st figure I bought was a bootleg one. Tsukihime, or Arc as I'm used to calling her, is one of my favorite Pinky:st figures.

Arc has red eyes and bright yellow hair. She's wearing a white turtleneck, long purple skirt and black shoes. As with other Pinky:st releases, she comes with an alternate outfit:a white button-up shirt and bare legs. Arc is unique, because she's the only Pinky:st figure so far to come out with bare legs. She also comes with a mini doll version of herself, a book and a stand.

A Pinky:chara release, Arc is now only available from sellers on ebay.com and Yahoo!Japan Auctions.

Just a random photo of PK0018 Miki-Miki and PK0014 Maki taken from when they first arrived. According to the Pinky St. site, they're supposed to be rivals, both being fashionistas and always up to date with the latest trends.

things to come.

LOL

Wow. It's been almost a full year since I last made a post here. Things are about to change, and Hopefully, I'll be able to post more stuff on here. God knows I have a TON of materials.

One big change would probably be the inclusion of other toys into the blog. While I initially wanted to focus solely on Pinky St., I've decided that it would be a good idea to post photos of my other toys as well. I've acquired quite a number of toys since my time away from this blog, and I've taken quite a lot of photos (of those). Some I bought, (mostly dirt cheap!) while others were given to me. And there's the occasional toy I found on the street. I'm not kidding!

How I got some of my toys is actually quite interesting. I'd like to be able share where I get my toys- like tips on where to go and how to get the best deals. And maybe throw in some news on the latest releases.

Another change would be the name and url of the blog. From oh my pinky!, the blog will now be known as oh my toy blog! The url will now be : www.ohmytoyblog.blogspot.com.

I'll do my best to update this blog as much as possible.

Take care!

I reckon she looks a lot like victoria beckham, at the peak of the Spice Girls. =)
